Bash speculation hits fever pitch

Kenchels everywhere, young and old, are poised in anticipation of the Kenchels Bash 2004 whose exact date and location remain a closely guarded secret known only to EP.

The Bash is the team’s annual awards dinner – well, not so much dinner as sausage rolls, chicken nuggets and buckets of chili – when the boys show their appreciation of the year’s most outstanding ‘Chels.

This year we’ll have two years’ of awards to celebrate following a small oversight on EP’s part (ie he listened to Mo suggesting we should delay it until the holiday season was over in 2003!)

Top tips for this year’s award – well, I won’t even suggest the names but here are a few possible suggestions…

• The Al Zeimer Award for Outstanding Feats of Memory
• The 90 Decibel Award for Shouting Loudly
• The Abuse of the Referee Challenge Cup
• The Horrible Toe – sorry Taw – Trophy
